Rosenblum Viognier 2009

Our 2009 Kathy’s Cuvée Viognier emanates Rosenblum style: hedonistic, with rich, honeyed stone fruit pierced by a radiant minerality that lifts the flavors and illuminates the voluptuous side of this varietal. A heady perfume of white flowers and ripe nectarines finds a sweet, wet stone minerality as the wine glides through the senses. The palate is fat and silky—oily limestone on a canvas of sensuous flowers and fruit—as flavors slide and elongate into the finish. Well balanced with depth and complexity, this Viognier easily rivals hearty dishes, including pasta, herb-roasted chicken or pork tenderloin.
