Colome Estate Malbec 2009
This wine has intense dark color with layered aromas of Cherries, Blackberries, White Pepper and Violets, similar flavors follow with concentration and texture.  Well integrated Oak.  Nuances come from 18 months of aging in French Oak Barrels.  The tannins are round and elegant creating a long finish.  This wine is enjoyable now, or can be cellared for 5 to 6 years.  There is 6 months of bottle age prior to release.  This wine pairs well with hearty fare including Beef, Game, Steaks, Red Sauces and strong cheeses.
