The color is extreme purple. All those different grapes give the Anti-Wine Red a very different and unique nose, plums, cigar smoke, Vicks Vaporub, bacon fat, licorice and cedar, there is a lot going on in your glass. Silky and slippery smooth on your palate, strawberry, cassis upfront and then the flavor starts to get interesting. There is grilled meat, asparagus, black cherry, bitter chocolate and Dr. Pepper. Take another sip and get more flavors. The tannins are balanced and there is good structure and length to this wine, the flavors have a very strong backbone to hang on to.

With all the different grapes you might think this is going to be an American version of a wine from the Rhone Valley, but French it ain’t. Unique and sophisticated while assessable and fun at the same time. There are flavors and scents in this wine that you just can’t put your finger on, but it is so addictive you keep on going back to your glass to solve the mystery
