So you have tried Ballast Point's award winning ales and lagers and now you have in your hand our latest creation. Furthering our quest for delicious libration, we have entered the spirit world. We installed our distillery inside our current brewery in its own bonded premise and began work on artisanal spirits. Inspired by our worldly travels, we have set out to make complex and delightful spirits on our own custom built still. Our rum is born from cane sugar and fermented with our proprietary yeast. A controlled fermentation coupled with a raw sugar creates subtle rum without the harshness of molasses fermentation. The reflux distillation with our hybrid pot/column still creates the perfect light rum to enjoy straight or mixed in your favorite cocktail.
