An exciting effort, the 2006 Syrah Block 6 boasts a dense purple color, a layered mouthfeel, hints of creme de cassis, black cherry liqueur, bacon fat, and underbrush. While it may not be as deep as the Clone #1 Syrah, it is a dense, complex, delicious red that should drink well for 8-10 years. (2008-2018)
